The Labour Court recommended new salary scales for non-cadre staff at Yves Rocher, effective from 1 January 2005, and did not recommend a language allowance for vendor/schedulers. The recommendation was dated 21 March 2005. The scales cover Grades A to D, with annual increments subject to performance appraisals and adjustments to reflect national wage agreement increases. The Court also recommended that Ms B Furlong retain her higher salary on a personal-to-holder basis. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union sought pay scales for four groups; Yves Rocher said salary decisions were made by its French headquarters. The Court said the company's position left no room for discussion or negotiation over the proposed pay structure.
