The Labour Court recommended a minimum performance level of 97 BSI for distribution team members at Musgrave Supervalu Centra Ltd’s Cork Chill Depot. Its recommendation, in a dispute with the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union, was signed on 13 October 2005. The company had supported a 100 BSI minimum, equivalent to 111 cases an hour, while the union argued for 75 BSI, saying the proposed standard was too demanding. The Court recommended a level between the two positions.
