The Labour Court recommended that supervisors at the Central Bank Currency Centre be assigned vault work whenever possible, with counting staff called on only when supervisors were unavailable. The recommendation was dated 11 May 2006. Services Industrial Professional Technical Union argued the vault work should generally be done by trained supervisors. The Court commended counting staff for their cooperation and for devising a procedure to address discrepancies, and said they should continue to cooperate when asked.
