In 2007, the Labour Court declined to recommend concessions on Services Industrial Professional Technical Union's claim for a restored pay differential for 28 Allied Irish Bank computer sorters. It said locally negotiated or national pay agreements had eroded the differential between 1980 and 1990, leaving no viable basis to recommend concessions. The recommendation was dated 23 January 2007.
