The Labour Court recommended that Ard Aoibhinn Services Wexford pay nurses unpaid holiday premium payments due since January 2001. The recommendation was signed on 21 November 2007. The Irish Nurses Organisation sought retrospective payments, saying nurses had been financially disadvantaged compared with HSE colleagues. Management said its limited budget could not cover the back-payments and that it had sought HSE funding. The Court recommended six years of retrospection for unpaid payments due since January 2001.
