The Labour Court did not recommend the Irish Municipal, Public and Civil Trade Union’s claim for retrospective acting-up allowances for medical secretaries appointed to Grade IV posts at the Health Service Executive (South). The recommendation was signed on 23 February 2010. The Court found management had applied the nationally agreed job evaluation scheme consistently and paid successful candidates at Grade IV rates from their appointment.
