The Labour Court recommended that John Sisk & Son Limited provide the Building and Allied Trades Union with available records showing when subcontractors worked at a Co Meath site, after the union said joinery work was done while two carpenters were laid off. The recommendation was signed on 15 December 2011. John Sisk denied that subcontractors had been engaged for joinery during the lay-offs. The Court said it could not make a useful recommendation until the dispute was resolved. If it remained unresolved after the documents were provided, the union could refer the matter back to the Court.
