The Labour Court recommended that Irish Bank Resolution Corporation Limited facilitate union representation for staff who want it in disputes with the company. Its recommendation was signed on 26 January 2012. The dispute with the Irish Bank Officials’ Association concerned union recognition for managers as IBRC was being restructured and wound down. The Court also recommended that, if collective bargaining began for those grades in future, the union be recognised as their representative in those negotiations.
