The Labour Court recommended that Lites Group Ltd pay Patrick Leahy €2,500 in full and final settlement of his dismissal dispute. The recommendation was signed on 5 June 2015. Leahy said he received no written notice of concerns and was assigned sales areas that had already been canvassed. The company said it had given oral warnings about poor sales and disputed that the areas had recently been covered. The Court found he was dismissed without proper procedures and that repeat assignments unfairly made him appear to be underperforming.
