The Labour Court recommended that Bausch & Lomb pay Simon Reid an ex-gratia redundancy payment of four weeks’ pay per year of service. The recommendation was signed on 2 December 2016. Reid had already secured statutory redundancy through the Employment Appeals Tribunal and sought the additional company redundancy terms. Bausch & Lomb did not attend the Labour Court hearing.
