The Labour Court varied an adjudication officer’s recommendation in an appeal by a Community Employment Scheme Supervisor at North Tipperary Leader Partnership. Its recommendation was signed on 15 May 2018. The worker said the employer breached its procedures in handling a colleague’s complaint and denied her the right to choose a representative. The Court recommended removing records of the issue from both employees’ personnel files and reviewing the employer’s grievance and disciplinary procedures, including representation rights. It did not recommend compensation.
