The Labour Court recommended no concession on a claim by three Uisce Éireann Regional Support Officers over changes to their roles. The recommendation was dated 3 June 2025. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union (SIPTU) said restructuring had changed and devalued the officers’ roles and sought mapping to a Grade F role. Uisce Éireann said the agreed mapping and appeal processes had been followed and relied on its contractual right to assign roles and duties. The Court noted that the officers’ posts had been mapped under the collective agreement and that no breach of the agreement had been alleged. It found no basis to recommend concession of the claim.
