The Labour Court varied a Rights Commissioner’s decision on Derek Dunne’s minimum-wage claim, reducing the arrears award from €5,561 to €4,777.50. The determination was signed on 12 May 2010. George Frayne appealed the decision. At the hearing, the only dispute was the amount of arrears; Frayne’s counsel presented a schedule for €4,777.50, which Dunne accepted. The Court directed Frayne to pay Dunne €4,777.50 in wage arrears for 2005 to 2008.
