The Labour Court rejected Brian Nolan’s appeal over Thermo King Europe’s refusal of force majeure leave on 27 May 2015. It found he had not established that his presence with an injured family member was indispensable for urgent family reasons on 28 May. The Court affirmed the adjudication officer’s decision. Leave granted for 25 and 26 May was not part of the appeal.
