The Labour Court varied Lilita Abzinova’s appeal against Noonan Services Group Limited, awarding her €500 for a daily-rest breach and €250 each for holiday pay and a public-holiday payment breach. Its determination was dated 29 August 2016. The Court found her shifts before 20 July 2015 left her with eight hours of uninterrupted daily rest, and Noonan had not shown how it accounted for the reduced rest when scheduling her work. It set aside the earlier €500 decision and ordered a new €500 award. Her complaints about breaks, annual leave, minimum wage and written terms were not well founded.
