The Labour Court did not uphold Finley Kennedy’s appeal after he failed to attend the hearing to pursue it. The decision was dated 28 May 2025. The Court affirmed the Adjudication Officer’s decision on his complaint under the Terms of Employment (Information) Act 1994; the merits were not decided on appeal. The appeal concerned a complaint against Gavin Ryan and Siobhan Waldron trading as The Black Pig Winebar. The Court found Kennedy had notice of the hearing and had confirmed through his representative that he would attend, but neither he nor his representative responded to attempts to contact them.
