Brendan Doyle and Caroline Conroy are seeking permission to keep an extension they've already built onto their house in Ballynakill, near Moate. They're also regularising the associated site works. The application is currently being checked by the council before it's formally validated.
Derek Cassells and Julia Donoghue want to change their plans for a house at Ballynagarbry, Moate from a two-storey design to a single-storey one. They'll also be building a detached garage, entrance, boundary wall, septic tank and doing other site works.
Frances Cunningham has been granted permission to build a new 3-bedroom house with a garage at Clonthread, Moate. The development will also include an effluent treatment unit and percolation area to handle wastewater, along with associated site works and drainage infrastructure.

Colm and Joe McCormack have got the go-ahead to build a new slatted shed and dungstead at their farm in Ballynakill, Moate, along with some associated site works. The decision came through in late April 2026, though it does come with conditions attached.
