Witness Appeal – Serious Injury Road Traffic Collision, Battery Road, Longford, Co. Longford- 28th August 2026
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury road traffic collision on Battery Road, Longford, Co. Longford on 28 August 2026. The incident occurred at approximately 10:40pm when a single vehicle involving an e-scooter collided. A male adult driver in his late teens sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized in critical condition. A female juvenile passenger in her teens was treated for non-life threatening injuries. The road is closed pending a forensic collision investigation. Gardaí are seeking anyone with information, including camera footage, from between 10:15pm and 10:45pm on the day of the incident.
