The Leitrim Cycling Festival weekend from 8 to 10 May 2026 made the centre a village base for film screenings, a kids bike-powered disco, art workshops, storytelling, shared meals, pizza, curry, cake, a boxty breakfast, Bóthar na Naomh activity and a Creegan's Pub traditional music session. Bóthar Na Naomh Adventure Duathlon on Saturday 1 August 2026 starts from Cloone Community Centre, with a 2.5km trail run, 20km road cycle, 5km adventure trail run, adult 5km adventure run, kids' 5km trail run for ages 7 to 15, and a two-person team option. Cloone's summer notices run through school coffee morning, Mass, playschool, church repair, cycling weekend, pub music and duathlon activity around the same community centre. Annaly Ceili Band is listed for Cloone Community Centre on Sunday 28 June from 4pm to 7pm, with caller Padraig McEnaney, raffle, EUR10 admission and everyone welcome. Midlands Brickx Club has a LEGO summer camp in the centre on Friday 14 August 2026 from 10am to 1pm, with booking essential. Cloone Agricultural Show has Dream Draw tickets available through Creegan's, McKeon's and committee routes. Cloone Homecoming carries reunion and local-memory notices, Cloone Tidy Towns carries village-care updates, Cloone GAA has older and newer club notices in use, and Cloone Haunted Trail and Cloone St Patrick's Parade are seasonal community notices. Leitrim County Council's 2026 Holy Wells Project is a current county heritage lead that fits Cloone's older well records. The project is collecting existing information and oral histories on holy wells across Leitrim and is seeking volunteers from individuals and community groups. Cloone has older public holy-well references through the Schools' Collection and National Library material, including St Creigharee's Well.
