Around Fenagh

Fenagh Visitor Centre is the village's weekly-room anchor, with the Monk's Den soft play centre, the Dolmen Cafe and Fenagh Heritage Centre in the same building. The current routine is practical: progressive 25 cards on Thursdays from 8pm, Parent, Baby & Toddler mornings on Fridays from 10am to 12 noon, Active Age on Mondays at 3pm, gentle exercise for seniors on Thursdays from 2pm to 3pm, yoga on Thursdays at 8pm in Fenagh Community Centre, Pilates on Wednesdays at 7pm and 8pm, and table tennis on Mondays at 7.30pm. The centre also keeps play slots visible for the Monk's Den, so the same building is doing children, parents, older people, cards, cafe and heritage. Fenagh's community side runs out from that centre into the village. The group listings name Tidy Towns, Book Club and Parent & Toddler as local groups, while recent Tidy Towns notices have Tuesday 6.30pm work sessions meeting at the Visitor Centre. Fenagh Women's Group Bonfire Night was advertised for Fenagh GAA Pitch on Tuesday 23 June 2026, 7.30pm to 10pm, with music, dancing, food and a bucket collection for North West Hospice. Fenagh St Caillin's GAA adds the club and school line. The club is founded 1888 and the 2026 notes carry regular lotto, the park-development draw at Molly's Bar, Fenagh, school football through Fenagh St Caillin's NS, underage U13 and U17 items, reserve football and county fixtures around Allen Gaels, Melvin Gaels, Carrigallen and Mohill. Fenagh has visitor centre, cafe, soft play, heritage, Tidy Towns, bonfire night, school football, club lotto, GAA pitch and weekly classes as the working town picture.
