Retention permission which is sought for an extension (total area 261.7 sqm) and associated retrofit works to an existing dwelling. The development comprises an extension of varying height, including both single-storey and two-storey elements, and includes the retention of the conversion of attic/roof space to habitable accommodation. At ground floor level, the extension comprises a granny flat (55.2 sqm), sauna (12.5 sqm), ensuite (7.5 sqm), walk-in wardrobe and laundry (28 sqm). The development also includes extensions to existing bedrooms as follows: Bedroom 02 increased from 15 sqm to 27 sqm; Bedroom 03 increased from 14.3 sqm to 17.8 sqm; and Bedroom 04 increased from 10.07 sqm to 14.9 sqm, including the addition of an ensuite (1.9 sqm). The former Bedroom 03 has been converted to a gym. Retention permission is also sought for the conversion of the existing garage into habitable space, consisting of Storage 01 (17.5 sqm), bathroom (4.6 sqm), sitting room (18.3 sqm), Storage 02 (10.1 sqm), and a bedroom with ensuite (18.2 sqm). At first floor level, the development comprises the enlargement of the existing entertainment room from 25 sqm to 36.7 sqm, including the addition of a balcony (34.8 sqm), and the extension of the existing office from 16.5 sqm to 27.7 sqm, with the inclusion of a bathroom (4.3 sqm), a snug (19.8 sqm), bedroom (18.3 sqm), and playroom (10.4 sqm).
