The Workplace Relations Commission found that Jozef Kubicz had not been discriminated against on age grounds in two complaints against G4s Secure Solutions (Irl) Ltd. The decision was dated 9 August 2023. Kubicz said he was treated differently in disciplinary proceedings after a security incident and was assigned to a different building because of his age, where he received lower pay than colleagues. The WRC found the incidents were not comparable: the other people in the security incident were authorised employees, while the person Kubicz allowed in was not. It also found he had mostly worked at the building to which he was assigned and had not shown that younger employees with longer service there were treated differently. Two additional complaint references were treated as duplicates of the two complaints decided.
