The Workplace Relations Commission said Leon O'Connor was not discriminated against in recruitment by Dunne Stores Retailing Unlimited Company, and his complaint failed. O'Connor did not attend the hearing, and the WRC said the merits were not decided. Adjudication Officer Penelope McGrath dated the decision 1 August 2023. O'Connor alleged the retailer discriminated against him on religious grounds when it rejected his application for a role. The respondent attended the hearing; O'Connor did not attend and gave no reason.
