The Workplace Relations Commission ordered Nera Investments Limited to pay Ema Radlinskaite €216 on each of three employment complaints. The decision was dated 12 July 2023. Radlinskaite said she was dismissed from her hotel floor-staff job without minimum notice or holiday pay and did not receive written terms. The company said she had wanted cash wages, had received holiday pay and had been offered a contract. The adjudication officer found that one week’s notice pay and about one week’s holiday pay remained due, and that the employer had not provided a written statement of employment terms. All three complaints were well founded.
