The Workplace Relations Commission dismissed Yantnarys Gonzalez Martinez’s payment-of-wages complaint against Caspian B.M.P Ltd Caremark after she did not attend a resumed hearing in Ennis on 16 February 2024. The decision was dated 10 May 2024; the merits were not decided. Martinez said she was owed €5,307.75 and had worked without being paid. The company denied the claim and said contractual deductions for damages and expenses were lawful. The adjudicator said Martinez had been informed in writing of the resumed hearing and did not attend to advance her claim or have her evidence examined.
