The Workplace Relations Commission found Brendan Mc Govern’s redundancy payment complaint against Forrme Construction Ltd not well founded after he failed to attend a hearing. The decision, dated 15 June 2023, says the merits were not decided. Neither Mc Govern nor the company attended the hearing, which took place on 30 May 2023. The WRC said Mc Govern had been notified of the arrangements but did not attend. The complaint was made under the Redundancy Payments Act 1967.
