The Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) found Linda Moran’s complaint against English By Design Limited well founded and awarded her €2,520, equivalent to four weeks’ wages. The decision was dated 10 June 2024. Moran, an academic coordinator and English teacher, said her contract omitted the employer’s address, information about requesting an average hourly pay statement, and details of pension arrangements. The company’s liquidator conceded the claim. The adjudication officer found the three omissions breached the Terms of Employment (Information) Act.
