The Workplace Relations Commission declared five complaints by Adrian Doroghi against former employer Synergy Security Solutions Limited not well founded in a decision dated 10 June 2024. The adjudication officer found that after Doroghi transferred to a new employer, employment obligations passed to the new employer, so he had named the wrong respondent. The complaints concerned working hours, Sunday and public holiday pay, night work, a night shift allowance and overtime. Doroghi gave evidence and the company rebutted it. The decision records the company’s account that he received €1,404 for six months of overtime, a Sunday allowance of €3.44 per hour, €193 for public holiday work and €16.80 per night shift from 16 December 2022.
