The Workplace Relations Commission found Michelle Hynes’s complaint against Dv8 Fashion was not well founded. The decision, dated 29 May 2024, followed a hearing on 18 September 2023. Hynes did not attend despite being notified, while Dv8 Fashion appeared and denied the complaint. Her form raised concerns including the lack of a written contract, dismissal without notice and a disabled fitting room. Dv8 Fashion said the complaint had not been particularised under the Employment Equality Act. The merits were not decided because Hynes did not attend.
