The Workplace Relations Commission dismissed three complaints by site engineer Lucas Augusto De Lorenzo against Dolphin Brothers Renewable Energies Aleden Contracts after he failed to attend his hearing. The WRC found each complaint not well founded; the merits were not decided. The complaints concerned employment terms, paternity leave and benefit, and payment of wages. De Lorenzo started work in January 2022 and left in January 2023. The WRC said he had been notified of the hearing, while the respondent attended and was ready to answer the allegations. The decision was dated 1 August 2023.
