The Workplace Relations Commission declined to hear Bridget Ward’s complaint alleging discrimination on the Traveller community ground in connection with a music event, finding Made Of Gold Entertainment Limited was not the correct respondent. The decision was dated 17 June 2025. Made Of Gold Entertainment said it was engaged to provide music and had no role in the venue, ticketing or security arrangements. Ward maintained that the company was involved in organising and promoting events. The adjudication officer found the company provided an entertainer but was not involved in organising the event. The WRC did not decide whether discrimination occurred; the merits were not decided because it lacked jurisdiction.
