The Workplace Relations Commission declined to hear Victoria Ward’s complaint alleging discrimination on the Traveller community ground at a music event, finding C.P. Leisure Limited was not the correct respondent. The decision was dated 17 June 2025. C.P. Leisure said it held the bar licence and provided the venue, while the Sunday Club organised the event. Ward maintained that C.P. Leisure was involved in organising and promoting events. The adjudication officer found the Sunday Club organised the event and that C.P. Leisure’s involvement was providing the venue. The WRC did not decide whether discrimination occurred; the merits were not decided because it lacked jurisdiction.
