The Workplace Relations Commission found it had no jurisdiction to hear Bridget Ward’s discrimination complaint against C.P. Leisure Limited because the company was not the correct respondent. The decision was dated 17 June 2025. Ward alleged discrimination on the Traveller community ground at a music event. C.P. Leisure said it provided the venue and held the bar licence, while the Sunday Club organised the event. The WRC decided only the preliminary jurisdiction issue; the merits were not decided.
