The Workplace Relations Commission found five employment complaints brought by Daryl Malone against Barry Whitelaw were not well founded. The decision was dated 16 May 2024. The complaints concerned employment terms, alleged underpayment and unfair dismissal. Malone said he was dismissed without a procedure, did not receive a contract near the start of his employment and was underpaid toward the end. The adjudicator separately found that Whitelaw was not Malone’s employer and that an unnamed legal entity was the correct respondent. The decision says the substantive complaints are discussed in related file ADJ-00046856.
