The Workplace Relations Commission found Nua Healthcare Services Limited breached the law by not notifying Aidrainne Rogers of changes to her employment terms within the required period. It directed the company to pay her one week’s pay. The decision was dated 6 June 2024. Rogers had argued she was not notified of the changes until 25 November 2022. The respondent accepted the September 2022 fixed-term contract was sent late, but said she suffered no detriment. The WRC also found her fixed-term-work complaint not well founded, saying she had been employed permanently since 1 October 2017. Her separate Payment of Wages complaint was withdrawn at the hearing.
