WRC rejects Sinead O Loughlin’s unpaid wages complaint against G Beauty

By Eimear Byrne

Workplace Relations Commission ·

The Workplace Relations Commission found Sinead O Loughlin’s complaint against Geraldine Morrissey T/A G Beauty not well founded. The decision was dated 7 June 2024. O Loughlin, who worked as a beauty therapist, claimed unpaid public holiday entitlements and overtime. The adjudication officer accepted that three public holidays were covered by annual leave beyond her accrued entitlement and found she had not provided specific evidence to support the overtime claim.
