The Workplace Relations Commission found against Niamh Browne on two complaints against Allied Healthcare after she did not attend a hearing. The decision, dated 31 May 2024, says she did not present a case or evidence in support of either complaint. Browne had complained under the Payment of Wages Act and the Terms of Employment (Information) Act. Allied Healthcare also did not attend; a company representative had told the WRC that its operations had closed and that it no longer existed. The officer said Browne had been notified of the hearing and had consented to communication by email. The officer declared both complaints not well founded because Browne failed to attend and no evidence was presented. The merits were not decided.
