The Workplace Relations Commission found that Liffey Field Limited unlawfully withheld Stephen Brannigan’s pay during an unpaid suspension, but dismissed his Payment of Wages complaint because the backdated salary had been repaid before the hearing. The WRC decision, dated 4 June 2024, said Brannigan had no outstanding deduction at the hearing. He had resigned in July 2023.
