The Workplace Relations Commission dismissed Zakia Tizi-Hsan’s employment complaints against Guerbet after she did not attend the hearing. The decision was dated 25 June 2024; the merits were not decided. Tizi-Hsan had brought 36 complaints under employment laws and regulations after working as a Senior Buyer/Planner from February to August 2023. Guerbet attended the hearing with witnesses and had submitted written material addressing the complaints. The WRC said Tizi-Hsan had been properly notified, but neither she nor a representative appeared or contacted the Commission after an adjournment. The WRC concluded that the complaints were not well founded because Tizi-Hsan did not attend to pursue them or give evidence. It also said it could not make a recommendation on the industrial relations disputes without her attendance or details.
