The Workplace Relations Commission found that sales assistant Killian Howard’s three complaints against Dunne's Stores (George's Street) Ulc were not well founded. The decision was dated 12 June 2024. Howard alleged discrimination on gender and family status grounds, breaches of terms of employment and penalisation. The employer denied discrimination and penalisation and said Howard had his terms of employment. The adjudication officer found Howard had not established discrimination or victimisation, that the employer had not contravened the terms-of-employment law, and that Howard had suffered no detriment as a result of the employer’s actions. The three complaints were not well founded.
