The Workplace Relations Commission found a worker’s complaint under the Terms of Employment (Information) Act 1994 was not well founded after his conduct prevented the hearing from continuing. The decision was dated 30 May 2024; the merits were not decided. The employee attended, but the employer did not. The adjudicator said he would not answer questions about the complaint, announced he was leaving, recorded her despite a prohibition and continued personal attacks after warnings. The WRC ended the hearing after the situation became unsafe.
