The Workplace Relations Commission awarded Debbie Kavanagh €1,000 after Vanilla Hair conceded it had not given her required employment information. Adjudication Officer Brian Dalton dated the decision 18 June 2025. The WRC dismissed Kavanagh’s constructive dismissal complaint. She said she resigned after being isolated, criticised over billing and told her hours would be halved. The salon denied deciding to cut her hours; the WRC found the discussions about hours, productivity and billing did not justify her resignation. A separate fixed-term work complaint was also rejected.
