The Workplace Relations Commission directed Raymond Carrigy to pay tour bus driver Declan Healy €750 for each of two written-terms complaints, €1,500 over road transport working-time rules, €500 for missing Sunday-premium records and one €200 award for grouped weekly-rest complaints. Its decision was dated 29 May 2025. Healy said he lacked written terms and information about the road transport rules, and alleged that he worked eight Sundays without the required premium and completed two eight-day tours without weekly rest after six days. Carrigy said he paid an extra €20 on Sundays, but provided no records establishing compliance with the relevant rules. The WRC upheld all complaints, finding that the missing records did not establish Sunday-premium payment or compliance with weekly-rest requirements. The Sunday ruling was about the absence of records, not a finding that the premium was unpaid.
