The Labour Court upheld the decision against Mr Soans Joseph Francis after he did not attend to move his appeal against Pramerica Systems Ireland. The Court’s decision is dated 11 June 2024. The original complaint under the Protection of Employees (Fixed-Term Work) Act 2003 was found not well founded because he was on a contract of indefinite duration. The appeal ended because he was absent; the merits of the appeal were not decided.
