The WRC recommended no further action on a nurse’s complaint about an investigation into two workplace interactions. Adjudication Officer David James Murphy dated the recommendation 13 May 2024. The nurse said witness statements were not given to the investigator. The healthcare provider accepted that it had not supplied them, but said the investigation report addressed the worker’s comments and that two potential witnesses were unavailable or had not witnessed the events. Murphy found the report comprehensive and said the statements should have been provided, but saw no practical reason to reopen the matter. He noted that the nurse had already received compensation for the delay in arranging the report, and that the nurse and the other worker now had a functional working relationship.
