The Labour Court recommended that Sidetrade Limited and a worker accept that their industrial relations dispute over his dismissal was resolved. The recommendation was signed on 15 May 2024. The worker said he was unfairly dismissed during probation and denied fair procedures. Sidetrade Limited said the dismissal was for performance reasons and followed fair procedures. The Court said the same dismissal was already the subject of a statutory complaint, so a recommendation on the dismissal itself would not resolve this dispute.
