The Labour Court upheld Ballymun Regional Youth Resource’s appeal and set aside a decision awarding Mark Sutton statutory redundancy. The ruling was dated 28 May 2024. The Adjudication Officer had found Sutton’s claim well founded. At the Labour Court hearing, Sutton accepted that he had not been made redundant, citing an earlier ruling involving the employer. After discussions, both parties asked the Court to set aside the Adjudication Officer’s decision.
