The Workplace Relations Commission found five complaints by Aurica Foiu against Arunas Bursevicius Netpol were brought outside the statutory time limit and were not well founded. The decision was dated 19 July 2023; the merits were not decided. Foiu's employment ended on 17 October 2021, and she filed the complaints on 4 May 2022, about six and a half months later. They included claims about working time, employment terms and constructive unfair dismissal. Foiu said she worked about 55 hours a week, received no payslips or paid holidays, was not given a written terms document, and faced abusive language and mistreatment. The WRC said her explanations did not meet the test for extending the filing deadline. Although the respondent did not attend the hearing, the decision turned on the time limit.
