The Workplace Relations Commission found it had no jurisdiction to hear Anne Marie Cassidy’s complaint against Airfield Estate DAC because it was filed outside the time limit; the merits were not decided. The decision was dated 3 August 2023. Cassidy claimed that the Temporary Wage Subsidy Scheme reduced her gross wages in 2020. She said her gross pay should have been €37,000 but was €34,121.71, including €7,467 in subsidy payments. The adjudication officer noted her net pay was unaffected. Cassidy filed her complaint on 3 May 2022, more than 16 months after the latest possible date of contravention identified by the officer. The officer found it was outside both the standard six-month time limit and the possible 12-month extension.
