The Workplace Relations Commission found a complaint against Normandy Ireland Fish Exports Ltd. not well founded after Gintaras Visockas did not attend the hearing. The decision was dated 3 August 2023; the merits were not decided. Visockas had alleged disability discrimination, victimisation and dismissal for discriminatory reasons during his employment as a fish worker. The company attended and argued that the complaint should be dismissed because it was not pursued. The adjudication officer was satisfied Visockas had proper notice of the hearing.
